If you plan on selling it, I would do it NOW! Once the initial reaction to new products wears off, his prices usually go down quickly. I have noticed that a lot lately, and I am glad I didn't get EVERYTHING when it first came out. I got his NHL Ink GOLD auto yesterday for $18! It had sold in the $40-$50 range just a couple months ago. And I consistently see people offering his YG card for as low as $15-$20 without any takers. As soon as the new season stuff starts coming out with new rookies, all his cards (as well as most other 13-14 rookies) will start to take a nose dive -- just the nature of collecting. Hertl doesn't have the following of MacKinnon, or even Galchenyuk. When new stuff comes out, there are some buyers who pay good money for the rare stuff. But once a newer product comes out, those buyers move to that product and stop watching the older stuff, and that stuff gets much cheaper. Although, as a 1-of-1, yours will tend to maintain its value a little longer than a 1-of-25.
The only problem is that there are just way too many 1-of-1s these days. SCF lists 32 different Hertl 1-of-1s, and I know they are missing a bunch. And that does not include a single printing plate, so you could probably at least double that number.
But if you want to trade it, take a look at my bucket...Last edited by Sharky94; 09-05-2014 at 03:08 PM.

NT is huge, people are paying top dollar, you would be able to swing 300$+. BUT you have to get it up on the bay NOW. 500$ OBO and see what you get, alot of hertl collectors kicking around
