Do you guys think 13-14 Cup prices will go up too?

Usually good rookie year it goes up, otherwise slightly goes down.

pretty much goes up every year no matter what, supply and demand. This year id say it'll be at the 550$ mark pretty quick

Price always goes up after they short every LCS on their initial pre-orders.

That's what my LCS says.

But 11-12 and 12-13 are in the $350 range....obviously worse class but still..

They'll go up, but they *COULD* drop back down again later.


Undersell it, create an artificial supply problem. Store order 20 cases at the presale price? Send them 10.... then mysteriously find 10 more for them later, but jack up the prices 30%.

That works in the early weeks after the release. After 6 months when it's no longer the newest or shiniest.... prices could fall back down.

Basically what they are doing with NT. There's plenty of cases out there.

Just if rookies take off it will never drop like 05-06 and 07-08.

That's true, but what rookies other than Mackinnon are really going to take off? Obviously this year's have a lot more depth than past years.... but does anyone really believe that there's more than one "superstar" in the lot?

According to my local LCS, cost is $50 more per tin than last year, and he has no reason to lie to me about pricing because he knows it's out of my pay-grade and I won't be cracking any...........

so I still have yet to buy my first case I said I was gonna buy either a case of this years ultimate or the national treasures. I went into waynes in Edmonton and they had told me that the cup would be out on the 22nd of October so I decided to hold off. you think my first case break ever should be this years cup? obv I wanna have fun doing it and im not looking to just sell of the case as soon as I break it buying it more for the thrill. and in Canada are you able to just buy a 4 box case or is that just in emerica. I can handle the 1800 dollar case amount but upwards of 3 grand may be pushing it. let me know what you guys think . thanks

i think its a 3 box mini case or a full 6 box case isnt it? no 4 box cases?
