    Realistic would be more like it. How many people are polled? From what areas? If you can please 60+% of nearly a 1/4 of a billion people, that actually ain't too bad.

    That's another thing, those are C to C+ approval numbers, but you speak as if it's an A+. You guys have low standards.

    Approval ratings in the 60's are actually a good representation of a popular president. The nuts on each side of the political spectrum are never going to support the other party. For the same reason the high 30's to low 40's Obama approval level shows how he has lost just about everything besides his true water carriers. The approval ratings of a president in his second term have limited meeting and just about zero meaning after the second term mid-term elections.
