At this point the NBA is probably just happy that the issues with the NFL have taken all the air time away from problems with the NBA like the Atlanta Hawks thing.

Yeah and with that Rice video I do believe the NFL seen it way before it was released and is just trying to deny it now so they don't look as bad. Daniel

For sure. Indeed, "sweep things under the rug" is the general tendency in any line of work, pro sports or otherwise. People will get by with whatever they can if they don't get caught and if it isn't broadcast to millions upon millions of people.
