Nuggets' Hickson suspended 5 games by NBA

I think the NBA is too lenient in testing but, then again, if you catch the wrong person *cough*megastar*cough* it will be more devastating than what you're seeing in football.

Any of these leagues are happier to just sweep things under the rug, I'm sure we wouldn't be talking much about Ray Rice if the video didn't come out.

Yeah and with that Rice video I do believe the NFL seen it way before it was released and is just trying to deny it now so they don't look as bad. Daniel

For sure. Indeed, "sweep things under the rug" is the general tendency in any line of work, pro sports or otherwise. People will get by with whatever they can if they don't get caught and if it isn't broadcast to millions upon millions of people.
