Tampa Bay Fan Fest pics and pick-ups!

Today the Lightning hosted their annual fan fest and my wife and I were already in Orlando so we took the 1 hour drive down to Tampa to attend. We has an amazing day and came home with a TON of stuff and only spent a total of $15 all day, and $5 was for parking and $5 for food for both of us.

We got to enjoy, 2 rounds of practice, a 40 minute scrimmage game, the revealing of their new 3rd jersey which i absolutely love and can't wait to get one, some interviews including 1 with Stevey Y, and autograph signings.

Ill start off with some pics from practice, unfortunately i forgot to charge my battery before going so it died pretty quickly and before i could get any pics of Stammer or of the 3rd jersey reveal where Stamkos came out to show it off which sucks but thats ok

There were a ton of different things going on and free stuff galore lol so we stopped by a couple different tables and got some free stuff

The first 3500 guests received free Lightning shirts from the Florida Hospital, back and front photo



They were giving out free popcorn in Lightning themed cups



Then we stopped by the sun sports table and received sun glasses, bottle openers and cups







We also ended up with a bunch of pocket schedules, i know theres a couple guys that are always looking for team schedules so if you need 1 let me know



They had a huge equipment sale going on but by the time we got there it was pretty picked through, we were going to get a stick but all that was left was Ryan Malone and Eric Brewer so we passed but they had a ton of Socks left so we picked up a pair for $5









And the best part of the day, the AUTOGRAPHS! We didn't get a ton of autos but a couple and it was definitely fun. It certainly made us want to start waiting around after games this season to get some autos from the guys.

Brett Connolly - For our Team Canada set!! Sent to him TTM a year ago and never received anything back so it's nice to knock him off the list



And Last but not least, my wifes jersey auto'd by Jason Garrisson, Richard Panik, Andrej Sustr, Eric Brewer, Brett Connolly and Nikita Kucherov.. we'll definitely be looking to add more this season



They had Richard Panik, Mark Barberio, Jason Garrisson, Eric Brewer, Evgeni Nabokov, Anton Stralman, JT Brown, Namestikov, Victor Hedman, Ben Bishop, Brett Connolly, Nikita Kucherov doing autos so we missed a couple guys but thats alright, only a couple big name guys but Bishop and Hedmans lines were ridiculously long so we didnt bother with them but super happy to get Kucherov.

All in all it was an amazing day! Free enterance, $5 parking, cheap food, lots of free stuff, met some players for some autos and watched some hockey certainly got me excited for the season!
