Anyone have Paypal Bill Me Later??? I need help.
I know this isn't hockey talk but I don't know where else to put it. Anyways I have been using PayPal Bill Me Later for a while now. I haven't had any problems until now. I always make my payments to them using my PayPal balance and did so last month. This time I go to make my payment and its saying I don't have a payment method please link bank account. I don't want to link a bank account as I don't have one. (Im 19) I don't want to put my parents bank account on there. They have nothing to do with my hobby and I make all the transactions so I don't want to get there information involved.
I have a ton of PayPal to make the payment but I don't understand why this is happening all the sudden. If anyone has any ideas or anything I would really appreciate it.Flickr: Hidden Content

I'm not sure if its the same kind of situation. I've never used the "bill me later", but when I first started up with paypal I always went off my credit card. After some time (not sure the limit $1000? 1500?) It only gave me a choice of linking a bank account. I don't think there is any way around it but to have a bank account added.

PP has been screwy with me the past few weeks and is now only letting me send e-checks if I want to use my bank account and not my debit card (as a credit card). 45 minutes on the phone and a supposed resolution last week worked for a day, then it went screwy again. You should try calling them on this one, though. They may end up insisting you get a bank account.

I have an account in the Credit Union that's where all the money I don't use on the hobby goes. I'm almost positive I don't have a bank account though.

I had a horrible time with Bill Me Later. There was a class action lawsuit a while back because they are so insanely difficult to work with.
Have you tried a PayPal pre-paid card? You can get them at Walgreens. That's how I paid mine off when I had an issue, but my issue was slightly different so I would contact customer service before hand. It can't hurt though, worst case you just have some extra cash on you paypal credit line. Please check my inventory before my photobucket!!! It's more up to date!!!

Thanks for all the help guys! My parents and I just opened a back account back in August but we haven't really used it. I forgot about it as I don't use it. Anyways I ended up linking that. It was quick and easy. I then was able to pay my balance on papal Bill Me Later or now known as Paypal Credit.

Interesting that you had a terrible experience. I signed up for it as you got $15 ebay bucks on your first purchase. I bought a $2 card just to get that $15 and then I was going to cancel but I know use it all the time on ebay. I get 3% Ebay bucks instead of 2%. The best part is that since I am a college student I can use that and buy cards I normally wouldn't have the paypal for and I pay it off little by little without having to pay any interest. I have had it for almost 2 years and never had any problems until this little thing.
