With that tweet from UD I change my mind and say he is in. I don't think they would give hope only to disappoint. I think it gives them an edge and will give collectors something to get excited about right before release.

Bummer - Drouin will not be playing tonight according to the scribes out there. Won't be until later this week....might just tip it over to the Series 2 side.

Sounds like the deadline was just too short (understandably IMO) to get him into Series 1, so Drouin will be in Series 2. His first rookie will be in Black Diamond.

In other news, Trish Stratus will be signing at the Beckett booth at the Expo on the Friday.

Official word: "Unfortunately it just was not enough time to get him into UD1. His first rookie card will be in Black Diamond and he will have his Young Guns cards in Series 2."
So get ready Black Diamond fans!

Not surprising. Timing just didn't work out. Not a big deal IMO.... makes Series 2 that much better (and typically it's awful).
