Marker for Maple Leaf Jersey Autograph

On the white jersey with blue numbers what marker should be used to sign it? In the past I used a silver sharpie but it came up very faint. Also my local Michaels don't have the DecoColour so does anyone have suggestions? Also how do you get a hockey stick signed?

Get the sticks signed on the stick itself, not the tape. I have only seen people using sharpies on jerseys. I do not do it much so there may be better options out there.
