I guess it was too much to hope that UD would stop filling new sets with retired players. "Massive" set with just 60 veteran players (out of the 500 that play in the league). How many of those 60 players are retired? Maybe someone needs to buy Upper Deck a subscription to The Hockey News, so they can learn about players that don't make Sports Illustrated. How many more Ed Belfour cards do we really need???

I'm curious about the Light FX auto RCs. These might be sharp looking in hands!

I was going to question the audacity of calling it a "massive set" when it consists of only 90 cardsHidden Content

Some of us collect retired players and have none to very little interest in all the latest and greatest every year

I think they should put more older retired players game used in the packs. Especially those from the 60 and 70s eras. I love those older players, especially the lesser know names.

I learned my lesson from last year....
Think last year looked better though imo.

I actually like the design, and will look forward to picking up any ovechkins, the shadowbox cards are usually one of my favorites every year, who knows Nathan Horton might even be included
