Filip Forsberg - Buy, Sell or Hold?
With the heat Filip Forsberg has been generating, what do you all think about his hobby longevity and card values? Is he peaking now, will peak later in the season (or around awards time) or does he have long-term upside potential? Show me your best Filip Forsberg card while you're at it! Here's mine:
By the way, I took the Preds pre-season in Vegas at 90:1 for $10 - so you know who I'm rooting for!

I sold all of mine except like two.. too much demand at shows.
Missed out on the ones I really wanted though.
Took Preds 100 to 1 for cup....gl...

Sell while they're hot. He may remain a consistent player for many years, but in the hobby area of Nashville....not the strongest market.

I'd imagine they can only go better/higher than they are right now is if the Predators can do damage in the playoffs.
He is a Swede though, which helps override the market factor (playing in Nashville) a bit more rather than if he were Canadian/American (like a Skinner in Carolina, for example).

I am in the same boat...with him and Tarasenko, but for some reason I have caught rookie fever and want to keep mine, and get More!!! ugh! That being said, he isn't Canadian, and plays in Nashville, so he will for sure plateau at some point. When, I don't know? He is a rookie, but seems mature and his wrist shot has a strange delivery that is hard for goalies to read. I think he will be a star for many years. Unfortunately, he has more rc cards than you can shake a stick at...( yours is a beauty though! ) Hope that helps! ;P

People like nashville because they have nice patches. ...they have a decent following for a small market.
He has a good name too which matters.
Only a few of his rookies will ever matter though....
