Panini America Offers Detailed First Look at 2014-15 Donruss Basketball (Gallery)
After a few seasons away from the court, Panini America’s iconic Donruss brand is returning to the NBA in February with a robust 2014-15 edition steeped in hobby nostalgia and equipped with sublime throwback elements that should resonate with the basketball-collecting masses.
Every hobby box of 2014-15 Donruss Basketball (eight cards per pack, 24 packs per box) will deliver three autograph or memorabilia cards, 24 Metalized cards, 48 inserts and three parallels. The highlights of this triumphant return are many, and they’re detailed after the jump.
The fabled Donruss Rated Rookie design returns to honor the star-studded 2014 NBA Draft class.

Was there ever a Donruss basketball set before this one?

The Rookie Rated autos were being released in their brand product the last two years. Does this mean their is no 14-15 Panini Basketball?
2010-11 If I remember correctly.

I'll probably be getting some of this. They did a nice job with the 2010-11 Donruss set.
I hope they dump regular Panini because it's redundant with a low end set like Hoops out there.

The Good: I love the old school design, brings back memories of collecting Donruss baseball as a young kid.
The bad: Damn it, man, I hate sticker autos!! I'd much rather have a card with no auto at all if it was a choice between that and a sticker.
