Habs/Bruins in the Winter Classic = licence for UD to print money. Going to be some very cool (and expensive) mem cards coming out of that one.

I was hoping that after last years Winter Classic that SPGU would be Wings heavy but it was the exact opposite, Game Used from every team in the Stadium Series and Game Used of the Leafs but not a single Wings Winter Classic Game Used (unless you count net cords and the one lone Puck card of Alfredsson).

But I'll hope for you that UD goes heavy and picks up plenty of Habs Classic Gamers to cut up.

With how big the rivalry is between Boston and Montreal, who knows, maybe UD will do something something special and make a "Rivals" set like how ITG did with Montreal and Toronto. Could you imagine patches like the ones from Prime using Jerseys from the outdoor game?

Its about time .... one of the greatest rivalries in hockey! As a Habs fan, the only thing bigger would be Toronto playing outdoors in Montreal! Can't wait to see this happen.

Should be a good game! The rivalry has really heated up over the past few years.

MattDMC I hear ya about the Wings/Leafs classic. I would love to see game-used of the old-timer leafs and wings Russian 5 getting back together for the first time since... 98? and a lot of my favourite leafs growing up, I think that is a huge waste for upper deck not to capitalize on the game worn. Maybe they don't have rights to the material from that game. Not sure how it works. I managed to scoop a few cushions for the seats of that game and gave one to each of my friends. I would love some patches from that game though!

It's kinda ridiculous that Leafs and Wings rarely played eachother over the last 4 years. Time to re-spark the rivalries and get fans excited! Bruins - Habs is a great rivalry right now. I hate both teams lol but I can watch the games and appreciate good hockey.

Both very diluted and overproduced.


There is no real hate or rivals left...no fighting or hitting...this ain't the old days. Players switch teams too often and at the end of the day it's all about the paycheck without getting hurt.

Maybe if they could get some patches from the 1978 finals or something like that....otherwise it's just commercialized fluff.

It's one thing to not get excited a specific hockey card release, but if you can't get amped up for a Habs/Bruins Winter Classic, just throw in the towel please.
