    Hello. I'm the new guy!

    Hello. I'm the new guy! I look forward to my experience here. I haven't collected in over 15 years. The hobby has sure changed.
    I am a baseball fan, so that is what I collect. I'm not a fan of really one player or team, just a baseball fan. I am looking for ideas how to come back into the hobby. I welcome all advice.
    One idea I have be thinking about is getting one Topps pack starting with the newest and going back as far as I can before it gets expensive. Regular Topps nothing special. I'm not sure what threshold I will put maybe 50 a pack? What do you think? Is it a good idea or bad idea?

    Welcome to SCF.there are inconceivable ways to collect.Teams, players,sets,GU"s,patches,autos....so YES it has changed drastically in 15 yrs.
