Marvel at our insignificance in the cosmos...
^Every speck you see is a star.....a star very much like our sun....containing various planets, moons, rock, and dust.
And Andromeda is only one of BILLIONS upon BILLIONS of galaxies in our Universe.
But, I'm SURE that all of this was created by a god JUST so me and you can look at the pretty colors and lights, right?

It is so much easier to believe that all of this was created by a random explosion of unexplainable origin.
You clearly have us on this point.

I agree, we are quite insignificant in and of ourselves. So why are humans so arrogant and why do some have God complexes??

Wait....isn't religion that says that?
One day (out of nowhere and nothing), God (who has always been) created light (out of nothing).
Following the next 6 days (whatever the hell that means since the sun and the other billions of stars weren't created until day 4) he created everything in existence (again, out of nothing and without explanation).
Why not be honest with yourself.....just say "I don't know".
No one knows.
But we (humans) have to make fanclubs pretending that we know and trying to convince everyone else that they should join the fanclub as well cuz we KNOW the "truth".
I on the other hand prefer to simply say, I don't know, I am insignificant in this vast universe, but I am very glad I got to experience this reality.

Personally, I look at the days of creation differently than the standard week. not consecutive days. And before you tell me how ridiculous i am, I don't believe in God, and this is just how it makes sense to me.
On the first day he created light. Boom the universe is born, everything is set into motion.
When things start to form over the time of the universe, the second day of creation the sky (atmosphere) is created.
After the atmosphere is settled, the third day of creation, land is created.
and so on and so on. Evolution would take its natural course. The entire universe would have some type of explanation. Although it doesn't follow the 4,000 year old theory, but I haven't heard of anyone actually admitting to believing that.
Not only is that the only possible explanation of any type of god creating everything, but it makes complete sense of a creationist theory.
Edit: and when I saw the movie Noah, it put my thoughts onto film

It literally all falls apart from day 2.
You CAN say that on day 1 light is "created" but earth is no where near this equation....
Every respectable cosmologist, astrophysicist, and astronomer can tell you that it is literally impossible for the earth to be formed before the sun.
This isn't even up for debate.....it is like saying that you can build a house without nails or any supports.
The whole process of how everything has come to be has taken BILLIONS of years, even if you want to say that "one day = Billions of years", the way the bible says things happened are not in order or very logical.
