Let me lay it out for you.

ISIS which is CLEARLY a group of Islamic radicals do horrific things things in the name of their religion.....many Muslims disagree and say they are not real Muslims because they would never do such things.

Christian Crusaders of the past were CLEARLY a group of Christian radicals doing horrific things in the name of their religion.....many Christians today disagree and say they are NOT real Christians because they would never do such things.

That's not at all what I said or implied.

Whether or not they like it....ISIS is Islamic.....this is NOT up for debate.

And as such they are a representation of their religion.

I never said that that that was the only representation, nor did I say that everyone within that religion believes said things.

The problem is, like I keep saying, is that Obama wants to look at it from a PC point of view where he criticizes the group but not the religion....this is STUPID.

There are MANY passages in Islamic holy books that tells it's followers to act violent....thus some of them DO act violent.

Why do some Christians HATE gay people?

Because there are various passages in the bible that calls gays an abomination, and it tells a story how god destroyed an entire city due to sexual immorality.

So whether you like it or not, Westboro Baptist Church IS Christian.....but that certainly doesn't mean that ALL Christians believe that.

This is a pretty poor argument don't you think? If we're just going to ratchet down to "well democrats hate republicans and republicans hate democrats so what they say really doesn't matter" argument, then I think we, as a society, have lost our way.

The issue is that in modern times Islam and terrorism are synonymous with each other. so if you are tolerant of Islam you are tolerant of terrorists and their actions.

The truth of the matter is that it really doesn't even matter what Obama believes and/or thinks about Islam. If he comes out and speaks of "Islam/Muslim" terrorists then we will see more hate crimes against American citizens. It has happened before and it would happen again.

People can be pissed all they want and talking heads can scream that Obama is a Muslim, a terrorist supporter, that he hates America, etc - but in the end what he is doing is completely calculated and is done to protect American Muslims (or those that morons believe look like they could be Muslim). Bush did the exact same thing, anything else is completely irresponsible and creates more domestic violence.

My only hope would be either Scott Walker of John Kasich being the next president. I am unsure on how anyone will change the mindset of all people, but of we can keep the government a bit more honest , a lot more frugal, and have everyone in mind when they make decisions, I think we have a chance to improve our economy, which in turn will improve many things.
