WOW...normally my threads dont get much attention....198 looks is pretty good lol. Anyway....huge info and I appreciate it tremendously! It's a lot to absorb..but I'll copy/paste it where I can check on it frequently.About that 1/1 after a /10 #ed card.I'm also wondering if they do that because its ..let's say 3/10...is the ONLY 3/10 of that run...but you also are probably right..adding 1/1 will generate more looks and with someone...like MYSELF...will unfortunately bite bc they just don't know...why I made this thread.Once again guys....much thanks!

In that example it doesn't really make sense. Unless there is a defect on the card or something. 1/10 10/10 people will list that way. A 3/10 may be listed like that because it has a rare defect or an incredible patch or something.

I agree...but if you check ebay...there's numerous cards listed #ed and then 1/1.
I was just saying...maybe those who list a 3/10 for an example try to be cute and say..."yea and its the only 3/10 of that run"...but of course it is if the run is only to 10.

Listing something has a 1/1 when it's not actually a 1/1 is nothing more than looking for more attention to their listings , the term "ebay 1/1" is mostly a "joke" term and any card with a serial number could be termed an "ebay 1/1" by some sellers .

It does nothing more than get more search results for their cards

For a lot of sellers a 1/1 could mean the only one on ebay, the only 3-colour on ebay, the first, last or jersey number, a show stamp, an error. Sometimes sellers will just cram every possible word into a description with no validity to get hits, like "Artifacts The CUP 1/1 Crosby Ovechkin WOW L@@K!!!

I once saw a dude list a Malkin card that was S# 87/100 and he said it was a 1/1 because it was Crosby's jersey number. So yeah, let that sink in for a moment. LOL
