What do Repunclicans / Right Wingers stand FOR, and not just against?
This is becoming a national trend..
-Against same sex marriage
-Against freedom of religion (unless that religion is Christianity)
-Against equal pay for women
-Against immigration
-Against tax revenue
-Against any and all social programs (social security, obamacare, medicaid, medicare, etc etc)
-Against a woman's right to choose (including birth control)
-Against VA and Veteran's benefit expansion
It seems the only things republicans are for are military expansion, war, and the only government regulations they want are those that limit the amount of people who get to vote in elections. Can someone explain this?

Would you like me to add support to each point, or are you just looking to attack me like usual? Betting the latter

well lets use an actual person, me. I am a republican.
-Against same sex marriage.
wrong could care less, in fact when it comes to rights of healthcare and such I am for gay marriage.
-Against freedom of religion.
not even close, I stand for any religion and against any religious nut.
-Against equal pay for women.
not even close, I have 3 daughters and a wife of 23 years, I am all for equal rights.
-Against immigration.
only illegals that get benefits from my tax dollar, while american citizens are homes, in prison, poor, and hungry.
-Against tax revenue.
against the misuse of tax dollars, and yes I would love to pay less taxes.
-Against any and all social programs (social security, obamacare, medicaid, medicare, etc etc)
social security was spent, obamacare is a flop, and medicaide and medicare are rampant with fraud. we need real programs that are not a waste.
-Against a woman's right to choose (including birth control)
dumbest thing I have ever heard. I am personally against abortion, but until a solution is found I am not against it socially.
-Against VA and Veteran's benefit expansion
Grandfather is a WW2 vet, father in law veitnam vet, father is a vet and two brothers are vets. I am against the fraud, waste, and misuse of the program.
anything else?
or I guess this is the classic, "its the extremists I am talking about".
get your head out of the cloud (Internet cloud) and talk to some real people around you, see what they are against, not some clowns in washington on twitter.

That's wonderful.. you stand against the platform of the party you support. What I stated here is not the "fringe".. it's the core of the republican party. Some they voted for in congress, others were on platforms of candidates and the party itself.
Very happy to see you do not agree with the republican party, but this is what they stand for...against lol.

Restoring the American Dream: Economy & Jobs (republicans are against the literal "dream act")
Tax Relief to Grow the Economy and Create Jobs
American Competitiveness in a Global Economy
Fundamental Tax Principles
Reining in Out-of-Control Spending, Balancing the Budget, and Ensuring Sound Monetary Policy (these are the point about tax revenue)
Inflation and the Federal Reserve (in fact most republicans want to close the fed and oppose the IRS)
Infrastructure: Building the Future (republicans opposed this in the stimulus plan and forced obama to cut funding for it)
Consumer Choice in Education
Improving Our Nation’s Classrooms (these contradict each other)
Supporting Federal Healthcare Research and Development (so now they support obamacare?)
Renewing American Values (this is the gay marriage and religious freedom points)
A Failed National Security Strategy
Conventional Forces in Decline
Nuclear Forces and Missile Defense Imperiled
A Twenty-First Century Threat: The Cybersecurity Danger
An America That Leads: The Republican National Security Strategy for the Future (the war mongering)
Protecting Human Rights (except women)
Honoring and Supporting Our Veterans: A Sacred Obligation (they vote down VA benefits almost bi yearly. John McCain said during the 2008 election that we are "too generous" to the vets)
wanna continue this dance? Platatoods are nice.. I was referring to what comes out of their mouths not just what they put on paper. Unless I missed it, the republican platform also includes an amendment to ban abortion.. didn't see it on here?

Shrew, why do you do this?
It is in the GOP PLATFORM that they are indeed AGAINST gay marriage.
This is NOT an opinion, it is FACT.
Maybe YOU on a personal level don't care about it, but the GOP DOES.

You are hitting on a major disconnect between the GOP and the people that they need to be convincing to vote for them. Maybe the GOP will evolve (get it?) on this issue before the next presidential election.
