One of two all-Canadian matchups in the first round of the playoffs has two teams making a return to the post-season; Vancouver is back after missing last year, and Calgary will resurrect the Red Mile for the first time since 2009.

I would take Monahan/Hudler/Johnny Hockey over the Sedins & Burrows almost every time. This is the playoff tho, and the Canucks have been there before and will step it up accordingly, and now that they actually have decent 3rd and 4th lines the pressure will be a little more evenly distributed.

I like Lack over Hiller. I don't like the Canucks Keystone Kops defense after Hamhuis.

I think it's gonna come down to the Canucks' 4th line.......... Dorsett, Horvat (who's playing a 2-way game years beyond his experience) and whoever the other guy is.

I think it should be an exciting series, if Mark Giordano was available I'd be more worried, but despite Ed's lack of faith in the 'nucks blue line I have to worry more about Calgary's d-men holding up through a grueling playoff series, I've got the 'nucks in 6.
