The FedEx truck just came with a little present from Upper Deck. Long story short, in December my mother-in-law gave me a $50 Visa gift card for Christmas. So I went down to one of our local Target stores and picked up a blaster box of 2014-15 Black Diamond. In the box to my surprise was a redemption card for a Quad Diamond Draft Relic card. I was shocked they put these in a retail product. I redeemed the card, and a few months went by and then I received a email about the draft for last Tuesday. I by chance got the 1st overall pick and was able to select this:

This year marks my thirtieth year collecting cards. This has to be the greatest card I will probably ever open. I feel like a little kid again, just like back in 1985 when I bought my first pack at a grocery store for 25 cents.

I read about this in the beckett, they didn't say who got the first pick, but that this was the card drafted first. very impressive even if the diamonds are "lab created" and not created by nature, you're a lucky guy in my book !!!
