New Guy from LI - Yankees and Rangers

Hello All,

My name is Randall, and I am happy to have found this site thanks to another local LI collector I met at a local card store.

I am no where near as avid or educated a collector as most are here, but I am learning more and more each day and that is great.

I like to collect Hockey and Baseball cards, and some random things that catch my eye. I am trying to build base sets at the moment, and collecting Ranger cards and Yankee cards from those sets in hopes of making a master set of those teams.

I have a card buddy, we often split everything we like in common - trying to make a base set for each of us to keep, then having a draft for the inserts and selling off the hits neither of us collect to offset our costs. <--not a common thing I am learning --> And why I am here, to buy/sell/trade my dups and unwanted cards to other collectors and bypassing the fee's of just being a seller on ebay.
