Go right ahead.
I TRIPLE DARE THEM!
I want this freaking country to finally once and for all see the true colors of far right christians.
And the most DELICIOUS part will be when the GOP will have to make a decision to either go along with these people or realize that if they don't take the moderate and SANE position they will gain even more negative press.
This is honestly a WIN, WIN, WIN situation.
- Gays finally get to marry in all 50 states....
- Far Right christians show this country just how hateful of gays they really are...
- And the GOP is put on a catch-22 position.
I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS!Last edited by JustAlex; 04-26-2015 at 10:59 PM.

This is so ignorant. The liberals REALLY need to stop lending so much credibility to fringe right wingers. Conservatives are not going to pick up arms and go to war against the government because gay people who are already allowed to have sexual relations, live together and join in civil unions are now allowed to call their civil union a marriage. The only people more ignorant than those who say this are those who believe it.

So is rawstory the new daily kos? The new "Blaze" for the left?
I <3 generalizations though. I have neighbors who are very conservative Christians. The believe marriage is between a man and a woman. Yet they support homosexual marriage as it is the right thing to do.
Poor Alex would probably explode if he met them.

@Duane....are these the same conservatives that marched in protest this past weekend at the capital against gay marriage?
No one is literally going to war, but will the far right continue to verbally fight it and use rhetoric and whatnot? Yeah, they probably will.
@jl i think you forget that I was once an evangelical Christian...however I've always been liberal leaning.
Even in my most Christian days, I was OK with gays getting married.
Mostly because even though I did believe it was a "sin", I also knew that it wasn't my place to judge ANYONE.
And any Christian that DOES judge is himself sinning.
Furthermore, I was the type of Christian that for the most part, I ignored the OT, I was mostly interested in Jesus and I wanted to help the poor, the needy, the disadvantaged.
I believed that Jesus' way was the only way and that we were here on this earth to be a light source towards the darkness.
The last thing I cared about is who is having sex with who.

And? People can protest anything they want. Where is it written that we all are required to conform to the leftist agenda? Liberals protest gun rights every day and that is a CONSTITUTIONAL right. I see no issue with people protesting something that isn't even protected by Federal law yet if it is OK for libs to constantly protest something that is.

I don't always mention it....but when I do, is to remind the reader that I have INSIDE knowledge of what it's like to be an evangelical.
