Another 7% increase? Ouch, man. It's getting tougher and tougher to do international transactions as it is due to the decline of the Canadian dollar, this only exacerbates the problem.

I found this out today a my local PO today. They also told me that if I use custom form to Canada it should track all the way to delivery of package. Before it would only track till the package was received at customs.

I didn't have to ship to Canada today. Some of the clerks know me already so they were giving me a heads up.

I was lucky and they showed me how to ship a couple of cards (up to six) for the lower rate, about $3.50. When I ship like that it goes out as a
    large envelope not a parcel.
