Advice: the best way to safely send cards TTM

    Hi everyone,
Seeing your passion and successes has motivated me to return to the hobby. Congrats on your successes, and thanks for sharing! I am looking for advice on the safest way to send 2-5 cards TTM. I have a mini-snap case (?-I think that may be the wrong name) that is made of plastic and can carefully hold 5 normal-size cards without bending any.

With this case, 2 or less cards move, but not enough to get damaged. In the past I have sent cards in toploaders, however, often got back smeared autographs due to the toploader. Does anyone know the correct name for these cases? I would like to order more asap, along with the cases that can hold 25, 50, and 100 cards in order to safely ship out my collection to people it would mean more to!

    Thanks for your help,
    Matt

Dont know if this will help but i never send more then 3 cards at a time because it looks like your a seller more then a fan. I dont put them in a case either as i keep seeing the thicker the items the more chance of getting ruined. Three cards spaced out in a number 10 envelope with a smaller envelope for return and a small note. They come back fine that way as they are not rigid and slide through the machines nicely. And can write do not bend if you want.

I just put the cards between 2 index cards inside folded sase inside. They have all come back fine. No worries about signing cases instead of cards either. And sometimes they even sign the index cards.

You can use thin cardboard for 4x6. I do sometimes, but it is heavier and can cost more postage. I would just use index cards.

Do you guys send a sharpie? I was wondering if some players don't sign because they don't have one.

Another option would be a pack of team bags..they are clear bags that fold over and seal...if you ever went to a card show, dealers make these bags up with 25 cards in a pack.

I never send a sharpie because it will cost more to ship. Trust me if the are going to sign they already have a pen.

I use an item by ultra pro.. its in there sleeve series called semi-rigid card holder.its softer then a top loader but thicker then the penny sleeve..u can find these at your local card shop or card show.. they run any where from $5 to $10 for a pack of 100..it just really depends on what u r comfortable with..the index cards work best too..it depends on how many cards u want to get signed..with the holders I use I can send 2 at a time in a envelope for $.49..its up to you..
