Black Diamond, well that's just great...
So, 2015-2016 Black Diamond is switching to a high end product.
6 cards for what? $150 - $200?
Oh, and one of the 6 cards is an Exquisite, what?
I believe the words you're looking for is "The Cup".
It's only Exquisite in Football and Basketball.
UD Ice, now Black Diamond.
What's next? 2016-2017 UD Series One. 8 packs per box, 4 cards per pack, YG 1:12???
Jeez, so much high end product, every one with Rookie Patch Auto's to 99.
WTTF!

I hate it so much. Looks nothing like BD.
People complain and complain about the same old "crap" UD puts out so now a change has happened. I cant wait for those people to complain again because UD made a change and they don't like now. I don't like it as I like BD but the mock ups I have seen look nothing like BD. I need to see more info but I am not a fanFlickr: Hidden Content

I'm all for it! If they take most of their products and make them high end at $100 per pack, then that is fewer cards I have to buy. Then all I have to do is pick up my MVP singles and a box or two of OPC, and I'm done. It will save me a lot of money. I have never bought a box (or pack) of The Cup or anything else that is $200 or more per box, and I never will (at least until inflation gets so bad that gas is $40-$50 a gallon). Guess this just means I will have to wait a little longer before the singles I need fall in price enough to pick them up at a reasonable cost a year or two after release.

Hmmm...I have been in the minority, and always liked BD, especially the SP ruby rc's...the Malkin rc year my fave design...but now, who knows, $100 a pack or whatever, sigh, who needs a middle class eh? :/

Best way to get it into Upper Deck's head is to not support it. When dealers see that the stuff is not moving, they stop ordering. Simple solution.

Am I the only one who thinks Artifacts when looking at the Exquisite mock?
I collect Matt Dzieduszycki, Derek King, Pierre Turgeon (Isles only), Zigmund Palffy (Isles only) plus specific current Isles (mainly Wahlstrom, Dobson, Barzal, Beauvillier, Pulock)

Everything is being made towards group breakers...only way product gets sold....that and case breakers who get products at dealer cost like 14-15 SPA for $75
There's only so many suckers out there to buy $150-$300 boxes to get $15-$30 worth of cards and keep coming back for more...

Thanks, not like BD anymore from those pics...the ARP seems redundant with all the other ones, oh well
