Best retail pulls?

I break Retail boxes from my local Walmart (and Target before it left Canada). When I feel the itch and I'm shopping, I usually come home with some sort of re-pack.

Biggest hits:

11/12 Certified Andrei Markov 1/1 Parallel from a discounted blaster @ $5.
Ryan Johansen YG from repack
Nathan MacKinnon YG from 13/14 retail pack on sale for $1

Fun times. Have to go to Walmart today at lunch, so will probably pick up more.

Anyone else see them selling those 3-pack re-packs with a Connor McDavid card inside? The writing is in French on the package, but I think that's what it says and I can see a card in the box. The repacks look blech with a retail Prizm and 99/00 Upper Deck packs. Selling for $8. Might buy one to see what the McDavid card is.

Back in 2007-08 I was pulling Carey Price, Jonathan Toews, and Patrick Kane YG's from gas station packs of UD left and right. Never pulled any big rookies from retail since, though I'm not much of a retail breaker anyway. Only to scratch the itch every few months.

And my advise... stay away, haha.

For $8, I got the following:

13/14 Prizm retail - base
99/00 Upper Deck - base
13/14 Score - base + 1 gold

and the Connor McDavid card was 2015 ITG CHL Draft #11 Connor McDavid Canada's Best card.

Oh well...

I bought 2 09/10 Blasters from Giant Tiger a year or 2 ago.

I opened both boxes and got the same 2 YG's in each box

Back when I wasn't collecting much between 2003 and 2007 I would buy random packs from Target. I don't Rembert when I pulled it but in 08/09 I found a Ovechkin YG mixed in with all the cards I had opened during that time.

I also use to buy those get a game used or auto packs for $9.99 all the time. Always use to get the same 3 or 4 players GUed all the time. One time I pulled a early 2000's pacific Tkachuk stick card. Sold it on ebay for $75 a couple of years later.
