How do you find Set Locations for TV/Movies?

I've been trying to learn how to find set locations for TV shows and movies. I'm not looking for an answer like 'search the forum for the show' or 'check out a blog like Mike the Fanboy'. What I mean is I want to learn how the people who post the addresses figure out those addresses. How do you search for them, what do you search for, is there a specific place you go to figure it out? What I really want is to get ahead of the game and send things in early in a show's filming so I catch the cast fresh. Whenever I try to search for this, I find no discussions about how you learn to find them. Does anyone out there have any insights?

    Thanks
