Post Preview: 2015-16 Upper Deck Full Force Hockey

    http://www.beckett.com/news/2015/09/...ey-first-look/

Acetate, 3-D lenticular cards, rainbow foil, die-cuts galore — 2015-16 Upper Deck Full Force Hockey has a lot going on. The product appears to take a Spinal Tap approach to 2014-15 Fleer Ultra Hockey, turning the variety up to 11. It’s loud and it doesn’t make any qualms about it. And while there are autographs, they’re not really the focus.

2015-16 Upper Deck Full Force Hockey boxes have 18 packs and deliver almost as many inserts, all of which come with some sort of alternate spin on card stock or technology.

Nice change of pace for UD. Something even the younger collecting crowd can enjoy. Awesome, no complaints here!

I would actually like to see these cards in person but as of right now it's not looking like something I want to collect even though I am an insert fan. I'm guessing it will be priced and aimed more for the younger collectors so that is likely a good thing.

Someone on another board said about 90 Canadian which if true is laughable. This basically looks like Victory with a 50-50 shot at an auto

At least they are trying something new; should settle at about $50 USD/box and might be worth cracking a few, maybe trying a parallel set or two.

If that's true, this is basically the same price as UD 1. Don't see a lot of sales in that range given the content in this.

Fun. Hope it's priced reasonable. Otherwise, what's the point?

A group breaker on another site estimated $85-90 a box based on cost. So much for younger collectors.
