Canadian Baseball Cards!
Hi All! I put this thread in the 'General Sports/Card talk' forum, but it's really a better Meet and Greet post with a question in. So...
I am somewhat new into sports card collecting. When I was young (in the early '90s), I had a collection of hockey cards, but lost interest along the way, and my parents threw it out when I moved.
Fast forward 20+ years, and I bought a $10 Topps Series 1 hangar pack at a Walmart in the US when I was visiting. I cracked it open when I got home, and... I feel a bit hooked. The 'hits' in the box are only worth about $10 (what I paid), but the thrill of the chase... Plus, I am interest in collecting the Blue Jays players out of the set. Best hit of the hangar box is a Gold Stephen Moya /2015 RC (similar to http://www.comc.com/Cards/Baseball/2...n_Moya/9850950).
So... where can I buy baseball cards in Canada? None of the major retailers seem to carry them. Walmart here only has hockey cards, which I am somewhat less interested in (we'll see what the season brings). There is a hobby store in town about 25 minutes away, but their hours are somewhat inconvenient - 7-9pm weeknights (unless they decide not to open), and a few hours on Saturday morning.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Edit: For reference, I am in the Cornwall, ON area!Last edited by BrianV; 09-18-2015 at 11:04 AM.

Hockey cards seem to be prevalent in Canada but scare in America. Baseball cards are prevalent in America but scare in Canada. But we have a lot of Canadian traders on this site so they might have baseball you would want to trade for.

Thanks for the thought. I might get to that point someday, however, to me it doesn't seem fun (at this point) to just go out and buy the specific cards I want. That will probably change over time, but I kinda like the though of ripping packs like I did as a kid.
I might just need to buy cases online and get them shipped...
