McJesus!
When a product first comes out prices are highest. Especially when it is the First TRUE rookie card of the year. McDavid is also much better than any other #1 rookie in 10+ years. He shattered records in the minors. Him being hurt will not affect the price. A lot of these cards will be purchased.. get this... AS AN INVESTMENT at this price!
It will get more ridic from here and honestly, the hobby needs this. It's about time we had a player like this.Master List: Hidden Content

If people can afford it they will buy it no matter what! Just like everything else in life. people with disposable income will pay anything to get what they want.
Sad, but true.

Sold mine today for $200. Not complaining! It's nice to see a player with so much hype. Will make the 15-16 year a fun year to break!

Did UD short print McDavid Young guns? It doesn't look like it. We're only a day or two into it, and eBay is flooded with McDavid YG... not to mention many more on hockey boards.

No, I don't think they did. A lot of flippers out there posting their listings very, very quickly on eBay too.Jhonas Enroth Card Collector & Host of the Hidden Content

Like I said in another thread, I hear 1:9 chances which sounds too high. Obviously doesn't look like the odds are that high. I dont know if Young Guns have been short printed in the last 10 years but then again when it comes to Young Guns it's kinda hush hush. No definitive numbers are ever released.
I haven't actually heard about SP Young Guns since 02-03 season. I wasn't even collecting at the time but when I got back into collecting I found this out when buying my Zetterbergs which costs almost the same as his Exclusive /75.

Is their any chance that places sell out of series 1 boxes/cases ? Is worth hanging onto a few un opened boxes for a few years to sell down the road?
