Hot Pack Successes??
I was thinking of buying a "hot pack" online and I was wondering if it is worth it? Has anyone ever gotten something good from it? I would like to know if I would be wasting money.

I wouldn't waste money on it. Many hot packs are from pack searchers, who can feel that there is a relic card inside, or know where the auto is in a pack. Sometimes packs are opened and a cheap relic is inserted and the packs are resealed. You will never pull a very valuable card from a hot pack. Relic cards aren't worth much, and that is the most common item in a hot pack.
If you are desperate to get a "hit", buy a $20 blaster at Target or Walmart where there is a guaranteed relic or auto inserted per box.Working on autographed 1987 Topps Baseball set:

DO NOT buy "hot packs" online. I'm assuming you are talking about ebay. Almost all those packs come from pack searchers. Don't support those people.
