Yup. He's almost always with Medvedev and Galiev OR Kennin's and Parayko.

It's not 100% because I've had some blasters / boxes without a McDavid but it's at least 90% true.

There is absolutely a pattern to the McDavid boxes. Mine had Galiev, Medvedev, Parayko, and Kennins YG's. I watched a bunch of breaks on YouTube and the boxes that had McDavids had the same guys in them, and they rarely appeared in any other boxes. The sixth YG seems to alternate, mine was Domi but the boxes I've seen can have a different player.

If you're at an LCS buying packs and you pull any of the above guys, KEEP BUSTING. There is a McDavid in that box somewhere.

I've gone with buying retail boxes only because I've watched way too many case breaks and seen the collations.

The walmart near me has 50+ boxes out still. I went and grabbed two and hit literally the same young guns in each box Petan, Koekkoek and O'connor. Plus two Steve Mason jersey cards absolutely bizarre. The Parkhurst packs are nice though got all the big names out of those two packs.

It's crappy when the collation gives you some not very great young guns. It's fantastic when you can get two boxes and score two McDavids!

Or better yet when after opening said blasters you go to your LCS and grab the last 2 packs of series one in the box and find a Mcdavid YG. That made up for the duplicate box (seriously even the base was virtually identical in the two boxes). Also how odd is it that both boxes yielded a jersey card let alone of the same guy.
