Not even a padded envelope could hold this mailday!

So I was doing my normal internet check for Habs stuff last week and came across a guy from Montreal who had a set of game-used Robert Mayer goalie pads. These aren't just a normal set of pads that he wore with the Hamilton Bulldogs. I was able to match the set of the pads and a few of the puck marks and noticed that the pads he is wearing in the picture below is from being called up to Montreal. Though Robert didn't play a single minute in the NHL the pads have there own story to tell.

Luckily I was able to get this photo signed with a handful of other pictures and misc cards before he packed up and moved to Swiss where he is playing now with a hockey club called Geneve.

I hope you guys enjoyed this as I was able to add something very special to my Canadiens game-worn collection.

I also received this a couple weeks ago, I was able to grab it very cheap as they are up in price now with how good he has been playing to keep the spot warm for Carey to return. (I do realize Price is back now, just using this as a reference)
