    That's correct:

For example, if you choose spots 00,01,02,03,04, and 05, you are basically predicting the AFC team's score will end in zero in each quarter, while the NFC team's score will end in 0-5 per quarter. If you choose spot 45, that means you predict the AFC team's score will end in a 4, while the NFC team's score will end in 5. The AFC score will be the first digit, with the NFC score being the second.

why was part of the original post deleted? the first section said something about a randoming, it's gone now. the quote you have is at the bottom. the problem is in all probability Matt will win them all, he picked the most desirable #'s right away. the way it has been done before, you pick a spot and are assigned a square. then the #'s are randomed for each side.

The first part did not mention randomizing- it further described the "squares", which I assumed was where your confusion was laying. I removed it to avoid further confusion in case others had the same question. The quote I quoted has been there since the thread has been posted--there was never a plan to randomize (bcool brought this up weeks ago in post 23.

As for Matt winning, see the following that I posted in post 24:
...only one number from Super Bowl 49 that has already been chosen would've been a winner, and for 48, all of the winners are still available. edit- the majority of the winners from Super Bowl 47 are still available, as well. That's just using the past 3 Super Bowls, too. I'm sure if we went all of the way back nearly 50%+ of the wins would be available still.

"Desirable" numbers vary from person to person. There really is no way to determine numbers for any game.

I understand in the past these have been randomized. I decided not to do that this year to see how things went with members picking the "squares" they want-- that way, everybody knows full well going in to the game what they have, and not letting chance have a play into it. You could say it's adding an element of skill into it- will there be a safety? Will there be many field goals, giving digits that are a multiple of 3? Multiple touchdowns?

Do those payouts include the 10% VIP Bonus?
