The fact you pay for shipping makes it seem you have to buy a bunch of packs to make it worth it. unless of course to get a mcdavid. Its cheaper just to buy the packs from the store. Saw about 40 boxes with the parkhurst cards at walmart. Was hard holding back..

Think im just gonna do the free pack until I get 10 cards of a player and then exchange that for a foil version. They do the 10 virtual base for 1 foil for the free packs right? Or is it only for the packs you buy.

how you going to get enough free packs? you can't trade them between accounts etc.

It's incredible that Upper Deck held back inserts from the physical hobby release. I feel horrible for the folks that opened cases chasing High Gloss, Exclusives etc. To top it off, now Upper Deck is directly taking those budget dollars from hobbyists that would've normally gone to the hobby shop. So so short sighted, yes it's not a big amount but for an industry that is already challenged in the brick and mortar model this makes no sense.

You get 1 free pack per day and yea I doubt they will allow trading as ppl can make tons of accounts themselves and trade them all to their main account. Might take a while to get 10 of a card but its free and doesn't take long to open the pack either.

As a compulsive buyer, I will have to be very careful with ePacks! Give me the free daily packs. but pack purchases will be few and far between.

You get 1 free pack per day and yea I doubt they will allow trading as ppl can make tons of accounts themselves and trade them all to their main account. Might take a while to get 10 of a card but its free and doesn't take long to open the pack either.

3 cards a day means it would take about 2 months to get one set or almost 2 years to get 10 full sets. Granted there will be cards that you'll hit more frequently than others but my guess is the free pack will move to a different set before you can get your hands on 10 of any specific card
