Can anyone tell me when upper decks The Cup comes out and what is the price in Canadian funds? And will Connor McDavid be in it?

Cup is usually end of Sept if not October. Based on previous years, probably 600'ish a tin (who knows exactly where the cdn dollar will be in half a year).

And Connor McDavid will be in every set UD makes from now until he retires (at the least, and probably well beyond too), unless it's a niche set like all-retired players or all-goalies (and even then UD will probably find a way to squeeze him in like a Goalies-scored-on-by-Connor subset).

It will probably be higher this year because of McJesus. Like every release has been higher this year. Or did Upper Deck just time their exclusive rights perfectly with McJesus to hide them gouging the customers.

Also I could totally see Upper Deck asking McDavid to put on a pair of pads just so they can have him in an All-Goalies release :D

Every release is higher this year because of the decline in the Canadian dollar. It would take an incredible level of foresight and market manipulation for UD in 2014 when they secured the exclusive licensing to have predicted that the dollar would suffer a drop from 90.4 in April 2014 to 75.6 today. Let's not try to manufacture reasons to hate on a company.

Their exclusive kicked in in 2014-15, so it was just in time for one of the weakest rookie crops in recent memory.
