    NBA Playoffs Chat Thread

Playoffs start this weekend. Looking forward to it, though a Warriors title still seems almost inevitable barring some kind of catastrophic injury to Curry.

    Discuss all things playoffs here.

I could see the Warriors going down but I'm pretty sure it is going to end up being the Spurs/Warriors versus the Cavs. Just can't see somebody else coming out of the East this year.

I'm expecting a couple of these matchups will be closer than everyone thinks. I don't have the Spurs as a lock for the WCF yet and I don't have the Cavs a lock for the Finals either.

Yeah, pwaldo, Cavs are clicking now - they had a good April. LeBron has been on fire since his chat with Lue, as has Love, particularly his 3pt shooting. They are moving the ball really well. Nonetheless, I still don't see them in Spurs/Warriors league; even with a healthy Irving and Love, I see them doing six games, best case scenario, in the Finals, and losing to either one of those squads.

    Interesting

Who do you have in the East stopping them?

Dubs Vs. Rockets in the 1st round, I can't wait. Cavs Vs. Pistons I'll be watching too. And Raptors Vs. Pacers. The other match-ups I'll pass on.

In The Finals this year, if it's not the Warriors, it'll be the Spurs. But coming out the East I only see the Cavs. Anyone else will be an upset, IMO.

Not sure what Andy has in mind, but if any team in the East will give Cleveland trouble, it is Toronto. Lowry totally abused them in a couple regular season games that I saw on League Pass. He can blow by Irving and Dellavedova all day (or Smith, for that matter), and Love's rim protection is often lazy/non-existent, so Lowry gets lots of easy buckets. It was especially bad in one game when DeRozan was also hitting. Cavs may have to mix up the rotations for the guards and give Mozgov or Thompson more minutes if the others can't step up on dee.

OKC thoroughly took apart the Mavs last night. Couldn't be happier with my squad. That's probably the best I've seen the dee look under Donovan. Shut down everyone except Dirk. Rotations were great.

Will try to catch the Cavs today.
