Thumbs up Who's going to attend the "Anti-Expo" Montreal card show on May 7-8?

It sounds a very nice sportscard show in Montreal, the Anti-Expo, probably the biggest card show in Montreal these days (more dealers than Centre Pierre-Charbonneau). It is also advertized on 91.9 sports radio many times per day all week long! So many collectors should attend and admission is free. They also had a booth at the Toronto Expo on last week-end.

How were the previous editions (last year)?

I'm curious because I've never been to a card show since i'm back in the hobby, is there a lot of trading or it's mostly people looking to sell to visitors ?

PS: I'm from Quebec and I might go :)

Discussing with few people around everybody told me there's always a big crowd (admission is free) at this card show. Well that's positive for the hobby.

I will have a showcase there with my 1 of 1s (I will share a booth). I have sold this week a Roy-Brodeur Dual NHL shields Auto 1/1 card, plus 8 1997-98 Pinnacle Press Plates 1/1 cards... hopefully I will still have stuff from my personnal collection for sale for the week-end of May 7-8 !!!! :-)

Some of the dealers trade but you can bet the will be looking for nice cards of McDavid, Eichel and of course Carey Price. I always bring some Montreal traders along just in case.
The want list at this link features what I need of Gretzky, Roy, Ottawa Senators, and Miscellaneous sets. I also have a CFL want list on my page and if you have nothing from it I will consider other traders of current Ottawa Senators,Guy Lafleur, + trade bait.
