Card Shops in Saskatoon?
Any good shops for a fella to check out in Saskatoon?
I'll be there in early June attending the CCAE National Convention, learning how to be a better fundraiser and hopefully getting to meet Kim Coates (Tig from Sons of Anarchy, who is a U.Sask alumnus and giving a keynote address) while there.
Of course there's also other stuff to do in the "Paris of the Prairies" but where can a guy go find some new Habs cards?Habs fan and collector! Main PC's: Carey Price, Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Juraj Slafkovsky, and of course...

You will want to check out Penn's Antiques on 33rd Street and AJW Sportscards in Lawson Heights Mall. Not a huge selection of singles at either but lots of wax and memorabilia.

Yes those two as well as Collectors Lane on the east side of the city in Market Mall. He has singles etc. graded and ungraded.
Those are basically the three card stores here.
I have not met Tig but he is here a fair amount. Family here. Some buddies have met him and he is a real great guy. Down to earth.
You see him ride around the City on his Harley stops in lots of places.

Hey Rich! If you get here by Saturday the 5th of June. The last monthly show for the season is on that day. It's not a spectacular show by any means, but you'll get to run into a bunch of regulars on here and HI.... possibly "Quincy" will roll on in!
The three shops in town were all mentioned. I recommend AJW as a good shop to stop in at. Not a lot of singles as Greg mentioned. Maybe a few hidden Gems, but if you were to want an autographed 8x10 framed with cards surrounding it with a Habs theme then that is a great place to pick up something unique for your collection. Penns is a great stop if you want to see your traditional brick, and mortar shop. There are singles there. You just have to dig... You might spend a lot of time though digging. Plus John is quite a unique individual. I must note that he is only open Thursday to Saturday so you'll have to either come the 5th or stay a day after the conference to go check him out. Collectors Lane.... Well it is card shop, and there is some Hockey, but...... You'll have to trip over all the Yu-gi-oh, and Magic, and that other stuff called gaming cards that plug up that place.
So when you come. Depending on how busy I am. We'll have to meet up!Searching for: Jagr, Palffy, Stumpel, and Boyd

Sadly I'll be rolling into town on the 6th so I will just miss the big trade show. That's too bad, I like the show environment.
Thanks for all the info, guys!
