    Question from a newbie

I live in a area that has no card shop within 75 miles (there is a comic shop that sells magic but that is it). Most collectors here buy the little bit that is available at the local Walmart and order whatever else they need online. I am considering two propositions right now the first is to put on a small show sometime this summer for card dealers and collectors (any advice on this would be helpful since I have no idea how to do it) and the 2nd is to try to open a shop in the area in the next 3 years. I have owned a comic shop in the past, so I have that exp under my belt, but I know the process of starting a card shop is going to be a lot different. So for any of you who own shops or have put on shows any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.

sorry if this is the wrong forum but was not sure where to post this

Starting a show is difficult because you to get a location, then get dealers, and then advertise it. I don't know where you live but where you do would be a great indication if it would work or not. I mean in Alaska a card show every month or something is going to be a much harder thing to do versus in NYC or something.

I'm no expert but I could see a show being more successful than a store.
    Always Looking for:
