After completing the Kurri Numbermarks im now on the hunt to complete this Nameplate...if anyone can Help me Locate this card or any info on it would be greatly appreciated....Im not quit sure how many copies of these cards were produced or whether they are even in circulation as UD wont release this info...i havent been able to locate any copies of the "U" since its release

I would assume that there are 50 copies of each out there somewhere. It would only be logical to guess that each letter would have the same print run.

The only explanation (I can think of) for why you haven't seen one yet is perhaps because he is a retired player, a lot of people wont post auctions because they don't think he'll bring enough attention, since (except for guys like Gretzky/Howe), retired players usually don't have as many people collecting them. I have been looking for an 07-08 UD Big Playmakers card of Peter Bondra for a few years and haven't seen a single one on EBay.

Not 50 of each letter, just 50 total. Some letters in SPGU are usually SP'd (the "U" maybe?). Best of luck with the Nameplate :) You'll finish it one day no doubt!

That would be only averaging 10 of each letter except for the "R". It's going to be a very challenging set to complete.

That's why completing these Nameplates are so rewarding. Not an easy thing to accomplish!

Upper Deck told me that the Market will dictate the print Run and scarcity...Ill have to Phone Kurri and get him to change his name to KRI haha or see if he remembers how many U's he signed lol....there is prolly some that havent even been pulled yet

Finnish players can be big sellers. I always have to pay up for Saku stuff. The Habs Factor doesn't help, though.
