Draft Night Party Pickups! Gallagher Buyback Beauty!

Great time at Players Choice on Friday night for the draft party. I was pretty pumped about the two trades the Habs made--getting Andrew Shaw is a nice acquisition and he's going to make life miserable for opposing teams. Seems pretty psyched to be with the Habs too. And though I really wanted Tyson Jost, I'm pretty happy about the selection of Sergachev with the first round pick.

Anyways, on to the goodies!

My only take away from the Draft Packs that Upper Deck provided...the only one I need. :)


I went into the Platinum case break and got the Jets, who had a pretty solid stack after it was all done. I traded a couple of the hits for this cool vintage piece:


And a huge trade was made at the end of the night. I've been back & forth about what to do with my McDavid YG. It's great to have one, but you know me, always blinded by my love of the Habs. So I bring it out occasionally to see what's floating around. Well, Darcy is now going to be a regular at our nights. He's one of the good ones, really great guy and I'm happy to have him in the Okanagan. And of course he had something in his beastly trader box that I wanted. So we haggled a little bit and came up with something that made us both happy. I give you the Brendan Gallagher YG Buyback Gold auto!
