    Subban to Predators for Weber

    Wow.

    I realize that he wasn't going to win a popularity contest with his Montreal teammates but there will be some fan fallout over this one.

    Just as surprised at Nashville's move as they spent a lot of money up front to achieve Weber's contract with a view that he would be a career Predator. Well at least with Weber it is all hockey and no sideshow.

    Habs also come out ahead on the Cap hit. 9M a year for Subban vs 7.9M a year for Weber

    You have a few months to remain happy that he is gone. No one likes to be on the receiving end of a Weber hit or shot. More importantly Marchand won't be able to goat him into taking stupid penalties.
