Traveling from SC to Altanta then to Nashville 8/31 & 9/1...seeking input

I have decided to go see the Gamecocks play Vanderbilt in the college football season opener Thursday September 1st at 8:00 pm. I stay in Columbia SC and plan to leave Wednesday morning and stay and spend the night in Atlanta the day before the game. Thursday morning I'll head through Chatanooga and on into Nashville. Was wanting to see what options are available to experience in the areas of any sporting events Wednesday night in Atlanta, sports card businesses and or general attractions? I wanted to see a Braves game but realize the season is over by then. On Mapquest I saw what looked to be 5 or so sport card places above Atlanta heading up to Tennessee? Anyone recommend any of those as a place to stop? What is there to check out in Chatanooga? I was thinking about visiting the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. Any card shops in Tenneessee that would be close by? The itinerary will be formed and adjusted based on how time is looking while out and about. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

We just spent a few days in Nashville - The Country Music HOF was ok but honestly, if i had to do it again, I would have spent the money on tours of the Ryman and Opry instead. Much more history and better things to see. We stayed at Opryland (which the Gaylord was a phenomenal hotel) but it is a 13 dollar UBER ride each way to get downtown. The hotel is walking distance to the Opry and the huge outlet mall but there is not a lot of other stuff to do around Opryland anymore. If you want more info let me know. There is a store at the mall that carries cards but way overpriced and not worth a visit in my opinion.
