Yeah, they're nice cards. Was fortunate to pull a Toews Franchise Force in my few packs, so that's cool. And it's so refreshing to only be spending $1 or $2 per pack with a guaranteed insert and a good mix of chasers too.
It's a great idea, this set I've enjoyed the most since UD Exclusive kicked it. Funny that way.

A lot of collectors feel the same way I think. It's a simple formula that is attractive and popular with collectors, just like the past when buying packs didn't cost a lot and you could find some value in the experience and the cards themselves.Jhonas Enroth Card Collector & Host of the Hidden Content

I can't complain about the weather here, however it sure would be nice to go to a hockey game from time to time.

Interesting note. A box of 100 packs contains exactly 2 base sets.
Out of 200 packs I got:
8 Franchise Force
12 Clear Cut Phenoms (some doubles)
67 Game Day Action
23 Platinum Profiles
40 Pure Gold
50 Local Leaders

Look for last year's cards on EBay, and it will be worse this year. (Does anyone think they will produce fewer cards this year?) I read somewhere last year that they produced 8 million cards last year (or was it 8 million packs?). That is a LOT! You can now get the base cards for basically postage. It won't be any different with this year's cards. If you are looking to make money, you had better hope to pull a bunch of the nicer inserts, or be the first one to get your sets/singles up on EBay.
But a release like this is not really about making money. It's more about what card collecting was/should be about. Pick up a couple cool cards for next to nothing. Collect your favorite players or make a set, and stick them in an album on your shelf to look at occasionally, and don't worry about what their "value" is. I just wish we had Tim's down here too, so I could pick some up (or at least extend the promotion to Thanksgiving, so I could get some when we go to Toronto for the next Expo).

According the Beckett checklist.
NHL Jersey Relic Cards
18 cards. 5,208 total produced. 1:1,800 packs.
1,800 X 5,208 = 9,374,400 packs
Does this figure sound right? Someone with math skills needs to compute this.

I took a detour through Canada on the way home tonight and picked up 15 packs. I never finished up last year's base set and I probably won't finish this year either, but the cards are nice. My best pull was a Connor McDavid Franchise Force. I also pulled a McDavid Game Day Action card, so it was all McDavid for me. No Eichels though.

That's correct. They've said on their website that the print run was roughly 9.3 million packs.Habs fan and collector! Main PC's: Carey Price, Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Juraj Slafkovsky, and of course...

Hi guys! I just got a bunch of Tim Horton's hockey card packs from my local Tim's and i think i hit a series of error base cards. The upper deck logo is completely off center on each card and the name of the team for each player is completely missing on each card (it is usually at the bottom). The back of each card is completely normal, however, the front is where somebody really messed up when cutting these or aligning them for printing. What should i do with these? I haven't seen anything like them.
