I've heard around $675 USD per box.

If that is the real price, it would be simply ridiculous. That is almost 900$ can.
I collect game used and autographed cards of Beliveau, Lafleur and Maurice Richard. Can consider other nice Habs cards too.

People will still buy it, even at that crazy price tag. Group breakers are going to really cash in, with people wanting to take a stab at grabbing something nice at a fraction of the price. McDavid RC's /99 will probably start off at at least $10k but probably go for considerably more. It's going to be crazy.

On a design point, I LOVE the RC design this year. Might be my favorite since 05-06.

I usually buy at least a tin, and sometimes even a case, but I'm probably going to have to pass this year. Even I have my ceiling, and almost $700 is definitely it. That's not me ripping on the price, because I think plenty will pay it and there are some "winning the lottery" type pulls for sure, just can't do it myself.

Yikes on the price point. So let me get this straight.

Water down the set add more inserts to create more product.
    Up the price 40-50%.

I was going to get a few cases but not at that price. UD has gone insane.

99 of them to be exact. At that price, if you don't get a McDavid/99 RPA, you'll lose money.

OK, maybe 100. His 1-of-1 Shield will go for a pretty penny too.

I can only imagine that there will be a McDavid card in virtually every subset except for maybe Enshrinements.

I will probably be putting up a case break of this, but the case price is insane.
