TTM Success No Postmark on Envelope

Ok in all experience I've ever had with any form of mail and the post office they always have a postmark unless delivered by hand. This is what's odd because I sent Andre Dawson a TTM request with SASE and it was returned to my mailbox with my card signed with no postmark on my SASE. The only marking on the envelope at all is a black sharpie line through the stamps. Any one else had this happen? Any explanation?

It's happened to me on many occasions. Don't know why either.

Happens to me all the time with 8x10s and baseballs. No real rhyme or reason to it.

I get lucky sometimes and the stamps aren't marked or touched...so I am able to peel them off or cut them and use them again.. :)
