I'll play along, first I must admit I didn't open next to any boxes of this year due to both my little boy and the weak rookie crop outside the major 5 and the price hike

Best would be Premier product has a decent price point, nice cards and seems to have something for everyone

Worst would be black or possible Ultimate. I think for the price black was poorly put together as for ultimate.... I've just never liked the product as to me the boxes are either unreal or complete crap lol seems like. O happy medium

i left series one and the cup out because both are very predictable and you either like them or not.
    My two cents!

For me...worst would be Black Diamond because I hate the new "high end" format they went with for that set. Best would be SP Authentic, the cards look good and I admit, I had extremely good luck with the few boxes I opened.

I think Platinum was a nice surprise. Consistent and easy to get value per box. My favorite product is Ice but I believe this year was awful for it. It was so watered down , I bought 2 master cases and I didn't hit a /99 premieres card. I bought a lot this year of wax, and it definitely was a McDavid or bust type of year!

My favorite from this year was probably OPC Platinum and Premier. Great cards, good price point for what you get per box.
Worst, is either Black Diamond or Black. I have not purchased either, but watching some box breaks, they were terrible. I can't understand how the manufactured patch cards in Black Diamond are popular among collectors.

That's my opinion.....Happy New Year everyone!

See thal_corbeil's Items on eBay Instagram:

My favorite was Itg Used from Leaf and Spa from UD, the only product I opened, the rest of UD was pretty much diluted crap, except if you hit Mcdavid.
I collect game used and autographed cards of Beliveau, Lafleur and Maurice Richard. Can consider other nice Habs cards too.

SP Authentic was fun. But my favorite was UD Fleer Showcase. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up opening multiple boxes.

Opening e-packs of UD Series 1 in the chase for a McDavid Young Gun was a lot of fun too.

Worst product that I opened was Leaf In The Game Enshrined. Blah design, cards with only jerseys and no real players, just not fun. I could not even sell the cards to get a little recoup. Second was UD Series 2. Outside of an Eichel rookie, there was no point in me buying the product.
