I'm surprised Matthew Benning isn't on the checklist.

Benning was called up first, has played more games.... that Caggiula is in the set over him seems a little strange - but if i remember correctly, Caggiula was on the roster when the team broke camp, he just never got into any games before being sent down. I'm guessing his inclusion on the early season roster is why he's gets the nod.

Benning though, I'm going to bet he has more GP than at least half the guys in the set. I guess he's going to have a much more limited amount of RCs, and same with Dillon Simpson.

it sucks that not everyone can make it but im hoping he'll make the update set. if not ill look for another benning rc from another set

Wow even more Maple Leafs featured then series 1! Can't wait to open some of this!

Wow had to go look and see how many games Dominik Simon played for Pittsburgh, a grand total of 3 last year. Jarry and Sundqvist I am fine with, but that one, hmmm. I think they could have done better.

i kind of feel the same about this list as I usually do for series 2 young guns lists.

Value wise there are the obvious couple guys but I think this should again be a pretty cheap 50 cards to put together..the only thing that I see keeping series 2 boxes from going way down in price is the fact that it's crammed with leafs and leafs fans are numerous and passionate

Yikes, they really goofed when they held over Lindgren to Series 2. He should have been in S1 and that's the end of it for him. He's a one-gamer (was a good end-of-year highlight) so having him this deep into the season is ridiculous, IMO.

Looks like Scherbak will be an SPA update YG.

Pens and Leafs fans will get a lot of rookies from their breaks!
