AWOL U.S. Soldiers are not refugees
Here is a small excerpt from the story,
The Supreme Court of Canada on Thursday refused to hear an appeal by two U.S. military deserters who sought refuge in the country to avoid deployment to Iraq, a conflict they argued is “immoral and illegal.”
Personally I believe they signed up and raised their right hands saying I understand. They are nothing like the deserters from the Vietnam war. A majority of those who did desert had been been drafted. While I don't agree with the conflicts/wars I also understand I am to obey all lawful orders. It is time to smack the Iraq/Afghanistan deserters and smack them hard. If you have an opinion let it be known.

I have the same feeling on the deserters. I am in the Armed Forces and I know what I signed for. In my opinion they should have stronger laws against those people.
